This was a live group project with River Island. We were given the brief of designing commercial garments to capture a new audience and entice a different kind of customer. Our brand XASHI got our inspiration from real life during lockdown. We were inspired by the things we saw and felt on outdoor walks during the lockdowns. We looked into outdoor adventure activities, such as parachuting or even just hiking, and ways of 'escaping reality', an aspect we wanted to really emphasise.
