For the Innovation Project, I decided to look into my childhood growing up on a farm, close to my Grandparents. 'Make Do and Mend' was always enforced during my growing up. My final outfit was completely zero waste- using what I could make do and mend with. This resulted in a patchwork jacket (made from old duvets, cushion covers etc), patterned from a Barbour jacket. Barbour wax jackets were always worn on our farm, so I deconstructed an old one and reconstructed it into a jumpsuit with a detachable top to be worn as trousers also. The top was made from discarded table cloths.
